This is the debut episode of "Up Down Left Right B. J. Start." **title subject to change**
The premise is of course, a couple of friends namely Jeff Engelmann and Bryan Channel, chatting over drinks. Might be funny might not. We aim to chat about video games along with things that, to quote Will Smith, "spark up nostalgia."
This time, it seems we got a little side-tracked.
Enjoy the show!!

Variations on a Theme
I found this the other day, accidentally, at work when I asked someone in the office to play a remix from a beloved video game. After an amazing day and a half of playing and beating A Link to the Past, arguably the best Zelda game ever made, I felt that this was heavily appropriate to throw up for your enjoyment.
That video was brought to you by a youtube user called Demon Tomato Dave. His other videos are class too.

The Fix
I found the fix. At last!
Some of you may remember this game:
The first ninja turtles game for NES. A treasure, I agree. But also a pain in the butt!
The first level is easy enough.
kill some guys, beat Bebop and Rocksteady, easy peasy.
But then came the level that you dreaded most. Those with game genie and game shark still had trouble beating it. I'm talking of course about the dam level.
I mean look at this guys health bar...
Now I'm not saying that the Hudson is polluted, but you have to doing something wrong to have ELECTRIC SEAWEED!! And I mean there wasn't just a little bit of it, that crap was growing out of everywhere.
While perusing the interwebnets the other day I came across the solution to beating the dam level of TMNT. The point of this product is obvious. To get you into the mindset of the Ninja Turtles themselves and allow you the ninja patience and ninja thumbs needed to pass this level.
Im talking of course about:
GAMESTOP PIZZA!!! Oh, also it will give you ninja diarrhea, ninja e coli, and ninja tape worms! But hey, its stuffed crust and your desperate so eat up.

New Fantasy Book Series
Over the years I have oddly stayed away from loads of, what i am sure are, fantastic book series'. I recently, however, picked up the first book in the age of fire novels, "Dragon Champion" by E.E. Knight. This series has been around for some time but is new to me. I am only a few chapters in, but it is moving quickly so far in a good way. More to come upon completion of the first book.
